PAUL WOODS RECOGNISED FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO ABM

ABM team members across Ireland & the UK awarded at major ceremony in London

ABM, the leading provider of integrated facility and aviation services, is proud to announce that Paul Woods, from Co. Cavan, has been awarded the Respect & Integrity Award by ABM for his outstanding work with ABM at St James’s Hospital in Dublin.

The award was made to Paul Woods at ABM’s annual One ABM: Growth & Acceleration UK & Ireland conference in London in November. The awards recognise the high-quality work and achievements of ABM’s approximately 12,500 employees across the UK and Ireland every year. 120 ABM leaders attended the awards ceremony in London and nine were awarded for their services across a range of industries including aviation, business, healthcare and education.

As the ABM Site Manager at St James’s Hospital in Dublin, Paul has managed numerous social and environmental initiatives, including the recent revitalisation of the courtyards at St James’s Hospital, and implementing co-botics on site to reduce water usage. He is also instrumental in the ‘End of Life Committee’, where he supports cleaning operatives by providing training to help families during difficult times.

Commenting on the awards, Paul Woods said; “I am deeply honoured to receive this award. It reflects not just my efforts but also the incredible support and dedication of the entire team at St James’s Hospital. Together, we strive to create a positive and sustainable environment for both staff and patients, and I’m proud to be part of an organisation that values respect, integrity, and innovation.”

The theme of this year’s conference and awards was Growth & Acceleration and ABM SVP and President, UK & Ireland, Richard Sykes spoke to the conference about the ambitious growth plans which each and every team member will contribute to in 2025.
