IRISH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY MAGAZINE – MAJOR RESIDENTIAL FEATURE

The housing market is packed with commentary, from housing requirements over the next ten years to housing affordability, to being a political football and more. Looking at it from an industry prospective, we ask experts what is happening, what are the challenges and what are the likely outcomes over the next decade?

Irish Construction Industry Magazine will explore, with the help of leading and highly knowledgeable industry experts, what is going on in housing, and you will hear from people ‘on the ground’ about the inroads made and challenges faced in the housing delivery process, as well as some examination on topics like grant aid for buyers, the issue of skilled labour shortages and the subsequent development and introduction of new building products and techniques, and the rapid advancement of timber frame and MMC. We also take a look at major innovations in the housebuilding materials market and ask, are we doing enough to encourage more innovation in our building materials markets if they are proven and in use elsewhere in the EU?

In this major housing review, we also look at issue’s around delays and their cause, working with local authorities, examine why the low take-up of the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant, how real is the concept of repurposing offices to housing units and much more.

From a manufacturer and distributor of building products and materials, there is no doubt this issue will be read by the political, local government responsible for social housing and all the housebuilding players. Ensuring you have a promotional presence in this issue to highlight your products, service and brands is going to be very important as we approach what is likely to be one of the most active periods in housing delivery seen in this country.

I do hope you get involved and take advantage of the focussed readership and extremely relevant topic of housing in Ireland over the next decade. Please feel free to contact me on the numbers below for more information on this major feature and how best you can maximise your involvement in it.
