GEORGE QUINN LTD – MATRIX RE-LOADED

WE WANT MORE! That was the response George Quinn Ltd received from our customers regarding our Matrix round metal spindle collection and accessories. Since its launch, the popularity of this collection has grown massively with staircase manufacturers, architects, interior designers and home owners alike. According to Vincent Murphy, sales rep for the company, the fusion of metal and wood is the latest trend in staircases in both new build homes and staircase renovations. “With this in mind we set about developing our Matrix collection to address the future needs of the staircase market”, he continues.

George Quinn

The result of this research is the new Matrix Square Collection. This comprises of six square section spindle designs in a black satin finish. The designs vary from a minimalist plain square spindle which can be complimented by both single and double collar options. Also available are the oval end, single rectangle and double rectangle spindles. All of these designs can be mixed and matched and are compatible with any newel post in the George Quinn Ltd portfolio. Thus, allowing the customers creativity to shine through when bringing their dream staircase to life.

Various accessories have been included in the collection to add aesthetic options for the customer. These come in the form of square collars which can be placed at the top and or bottom of the spindles as an added feature if required with both a rake and landing collar available.

A new white oak engineered hand rail and baserail are also available with a contemporary profile to compliment the sleek Matrix spindles. These are “pre-drilled” for use on “closed string” stairs to make it easier for carpenters and joiners in the fitting process. They are also available “undrilled” and can be drilled or tracked by the customer to their own requirements.

The warmth of natural timber complimented by the modern finish of metal spindles provides a timeless combination which will transform any staircase and ultimately the hallway which it adorns. George Quinn Ltd are the only stair parts supplier in Ireland to provide a comprehensive range of Metal spindles and accessories which are available through joinery, staircase manufacturers and Builders providers in Ireland.
