CSPAC RECOGNISE EXCELLENCE IN SAFETY INNOVATION

Awards were recently presented to the winners at the Annual Forum of the CSPAC in Dublin.

Daniel Fowkes (Collen Construction) – Construction Representative of the Year.

The CSPAC Innovation in Safety Award recognises exemplary performance or innovation by individuals, organisations & product suppliers, along with health & safety-related themes that can benefit the construction industry. There must be a transferable benefit that can be utilised & understood by other in the industry.

The CSPAC recognises the importance of the role of the construction safety representative & presented Daniel with an award of €500 & a Certificate of Recognition, for his outstanding contribution to improving safety & health on a construction site in the past year.

Daniel (Collen Construction) has shown a solid understanding of health & safety aspects in his organisation & is committed to continuously improving his knowledge & understanding of how to promote health & safety among his fellow workers. He demonstrates a strong commitment towards the implementation of the ISO: 45001 accredited safety management system operated by Collen & is often the top contributor to Collen’s “Good Safe’ initiative, which can be directly attributed to a reduction of accidents & near misses on sites.
