Actavo Modular Awarded NSAI Agrément Certification for Modular Building System
Actavo Modular has achieved NSAI Agrément Certification for its modular building system, providing independent technical validation that the system meets Irish regulatory requirements for buildings of up to six storeys. The certification marks a significant milestone for the company as demand for off-site construction continues to grow.
NSAI Agrément Certification provides independent technical assessment of innovative construction products and systems, giving designers, contractors and clients confidence that certified systems meet Irish regulatory and performance requirements.
Actavo Modular, Ireland’s leading modular construction provider, has been awarded the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) Agrément Certification for its Actavo Modular Building System. The technical certification confirms that the system has undergone strict assessments and is considered suitable for use in Irish construction, meeting the regulatory requirements. The certification provides for all classification of buildings up to six storeys.

The Actavo Modular Building System is a factory-manufactured structural steel framing system used to build complete rooms or building sections, built off-site and delivered to site ready for assembly. Each module arrives as a weatherproofed, sealed unit, already fitted with windows, insulation, internal boarding, and mechanical and electrical services, and is lifted directly into place by crane using a specifically designed lifting frame.
Keith Tobin, CEO of Actavo said: “This is a significant achievement for our business and reflects the expertise, commitment, and hard work of many people across the business. Securing this certification is a strong endorsement of the work we do and the standards we uphold. This achievement will be a key enabler for our future growth and will help to strengthen our position in the market.”
Actavo Modular has established a strong track record in delivering off-site construction solutions across residential, commercial and public sector projects, combining modern manufacturing techniques with traditional construction expertise.
Modular construction is playing an increasingly important role in meeting the demand for high-quality, efficient building solutions, offering benefits including improved quality control, greater consistency and reduced disruption and time on site.
