Sisk Chief Executive Officer Paul Brown named CEO of the Year at Building Awards
Sisk is delighted to announce that its Chief Executive Officer, Paul Brown, has been named CEO of the Year at the Building Awards 2026, held in London last night.
The award recognises Paul’s leadership of Sisk, his contribution to the wider UK construction industry as Chair of Build UK, and his commitment to delivering sustainable growth, operational excellence and long-term value.
With more than 25 years’ experience in civil engineering, Paul has played a significant role in strengthening Sisk’s position across the construction and infrastructure sectors in the UK and Ireland. His leadership has been characterised by a pragmatic approach to growth, a clear strategic vision and a continued focus on people, technical excellence and strong customer relationships.
Under Paul’s leadership, Sisk delivered increased profitability and improved margins in 2025, alongside the acquisition of Farrans, further expanding the Group’s infrastructure and civil engineering capabilities across the UK and Ireland. Sisk entered 2026 with a €7.2 billion order book, providing strong visibility across its future markets.
The judging panel recognised Paul’s ability to guide a major international contractor through a complex market while maintaining a strong balance sheet, a quality order book and a clear focus on investing for the future.
