Wavin bolsters leadership team with Commercial Director appointment
Leading drainage and plumbing manufacturer Wavin has announced the appointment of Maxine Cornelius as its new Commercial Director for the UK and Ireland as it continues to bolster its senior team.
Wavin has appointed Maxine to lead its UK and Ireland sales operations, with a clear brief to strengthen support for merchants and installers. Overseeing the full Building & Infrastructure range, she will focus on delivering cohesive customer engagement, and a commercial strategy designed to help the trade grow sustainably.
Alongside her UK responsibilities, a key area of focus for Maxine will be the development of the Wavin Ireland business, working closely with the Wavin Ireland Sales team led by Declan Conlon, Sales Director for Wavin Ireland.
Maxine joins from City Plumbing, one of the UK’s largest builders’ merchants, bringing extensive merchant-side expertise. During her time as Managing Director for sales in the business, she played a pivotal role in driving growth and commercial performance.
