Radius Housing Achieves Platinum Tenant Participation Accreditation

Radius Housing has been awarded Platinum Tenant Participation Accreditation by Supporting Communities, recognising its leadership in tenant engagement, continuous improvement and community-focused housing services.

In the report, the awarding panel commented that Radius maintained a “really excellent practice with tenant involvement in improving repairs, good to see this practice being extended to other services. Evidence that tenant participation (TP) is embedded into the organisation from the top, getting involved and understanding TP is in the culture of Radius. Many organisations can learn from this.”

Overall, the Assessors acknowledged the considerable efforts made by Radius in implementing the recommendations arising from the previous accreditation submission. In particular, the assessor was encouraged and impressed by the proposed collaborative work with the NI Youth Forum, as well as the development of the Equality Action Plan, both of which reflect a clear and meaningful commitment to inclusive practice.

In addition, the assessment identified areas for improvement and referred to Radius for consideration. It is evident from the overall submission that the recommendations made during the previous accreditation process have been taken seriously and acted upon. Radius has demonstrated not only that it listens, but that it follows through; translating feedback into tangible improvements. Radius remains deeply committed to excellence in tenant participation.
