DRIVING DIGITAL DELIVERY FOR IRELAND’S INFRASTRUCTURE: ISO 19650 AND THE IRISH BIM MANDATEHENRY BROTHERS COMPLETES £13.5M DVA MOT TEST CENTRE IN MALLUSK

Leading construction company Henry Brothers has successfully completed a new £13.5 million Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) MOT test centre in Mallusk, delivering a modern facility designed to meet growing demand for vehicle testing in Northern Ireland.

The state-of-the-art centre has the capacity to carry out up to 100,000 vehicle tests annually, significantly enhancing testing availability and efficiency in the region.

State-of-the-Art Vehicle Testing Facility in Northern Ireland

The newly completed Mallusk MOT test centre includes:

    • A ten-lane vehicle testing area
    • Seven ramp lanes for light vehicle testing
    • Two dedicated lanes for heavy goods vehicles
    • A specialist motorcycle testing bay

The development also features a new internal road network, car parking facilities, and an off-road motorcycle driving test track.

Liz Kimmins, Minister for Infrastructure, has welcomed the handover of the new DVA test centre in Mallusk, built by Henry Brothers.

Delivered on Time and Within Budget

The project was delivered on time and within budget, reflecting Henry Brothers’ expertise in delivering high-quality infrastructure and construction projects in Northern Ireland.

Supporting Vehicle Testing Infrastructure in Northern Ireland

The project was delivered on behalf of the Department for Infrastructure and represents a significant investment in improving vehicle testing services in Northern Ireland.

The new facility will help reduce waiting times and improve access to testing for motorists and commercial vehicle operators.

Minister for Infrastructure Liz Kimmins commented:
