PRESTIGIOUS DEVELOPMENTS COMPLETED – WALLS CONSTRUCTION

We are delighted to have recently completed another two prestigious developments for Marlet Property Group. The two developments, namely ‘The Sorting Office’ and ‘Ropemaker Place’, are located adjacent to each other on the old An Post site at Cardiff Lane in Dublin 2 and are complimented by an extensive realignment and landscaping of Hanover Street.

ATRIUM FEATURE

‘The Sorting Office’ is a distinctive 6 storey over basement carpark LEED Platinum office building with an overall gross office floor area of c.23,000m2. It includes a feature open atrium, extensive external terracing and other state of the art services such as high speed lifts with destination control as well as 2 retail units which front onto Cardiff Lane.

The façade of the eastern commercial block comprises a precast concrete cladding with a unitised glazing system. Both blocks have external roof terraces as well as extensive green (sedum) roofing. There is a significant extent of hard and soft landscaping to the ground floor areas around both blocks together with a complete re-alignment of Hanover street through the completed development.

This building is targeting LEED Platinum certification.

WALLS CONSTRUCTION RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Ropemaker Place residential development consists of the construction of two 5-6 storey plus set back (over basement) mixed-use blocks. With a floor area of 5,000m2, it includes 56 apartments over a basement car park with a private courtyard amenity space and 2 retail units fronting onto Hanover Street.

The façade of the residential block comprise of a metsec/concrete inner leaf with brickwork or render forming the outer leaf. Both blocks have external roof terraces as well as extensive green (sedum) roofing. There is a significant extent of hard and soft landscaping to the ground floor areas around both blocks together with a complete re-alignment of Hanover street through the completed development.
