Jim Walsh, FPRII (Life) has been named as the inaugural inductee. Widely recognised for his leadership, innovation, and mentorship, Jim has helped shape the direction of the PR profession in Ireland over many decades. Brian Harrison added: “Jim’s contribution to public relations in Ireland cannot be overstated. His integrity and influence have left a lasting legacy, and it is fitting that he is the first to be recognised with this honour.”

Commenting on the Hall of Fame Award Jim Walsh said: “This is an unexpected honour that owes much to the many colleagues, peers, clients and journalists that have been so supportive over almost five decades as a PR/Communications consultant. It is also humbling to be recognised in this way while continuing to be heavily involved in a profession that provides so many opportunities for continuous learning and involvement across a wide area of business and social sectors.”

The PRCA Spotlight Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, 20 June 2025, at The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, where winners will be announced and Jim Walsh’s Hall of Fame induction will be formally celebrated.
