JAHRA ROAD – LARGEST BRIDGE PROJECT IN KUWAIT
Jahra Road project- RMD Kwikform supply specialist formwork for the project, one of the largest bridge projects in Kuwait
The works included building a 21km motorway with 11km elevated roads and 1km of tunnels. For the construction of 427 concrete piers, which reached a height of up to 25m, RMD Kwikform designed a bespoke formwork system that ensured a high-quality concrete finish. In addition to our #specialformwork, we provided our Rapidshor system and a range of Superslims to support additional structures along the project.
Kuwait’s Jahra Road project will reduce traffic congestion and includes the construction of a 21km motorway with 11km of elevated roads and 1km of tunnels. 427 concrete piers with heights of up 25m support the elevated road and the engineers at RMD Kwikform have designed and supplied bespoke all-steel formwork combining speed of construction with a high quality concrete finish. RMD Kwikform’s scope of work also includes the supply of 80kN galvanised Rapidshor system and a range of Superslim and GTX wallforms to construct additional structures.
