DESIGNER GROUP ARE STEPPING UP TO THE CHALLENGE FOR DREAMS COME TRUE

Designer Group are heading to the Arctic from 2nd-7th February. Eleven brave team members will be facing the elements to raise money for Dreams Come True children’s charity.

Dreams Come True are a UK national charity that fulfils dreams for children and young adults with serious and life-limiting conditions. Designer Group have already raised over £20,000 for the charity during 2019 and are set to surpass this in 2020.

• They will be travelling 66km (41 miles) across 3 days.
• They will be pulling all their own kit behind them for the duration of the trek which weighs over 20kg.
• Temperatures could be as low as minus 30.
• The team will sleep fully clothed in tents throughout the duration of the trek, until the last evening when they will spend the night in an igloo under the northern lights.

“I finish my Chemotherapy 2 days before the start of this trek, this is my chance to celebrate life, hopefully cancer free, in a special way by giving others a chance to also enjoy life.”
Martin Bawn, UK Planner

“After completing the 3 Peak challenge on behalf of DG for Dreams come True in 2018, I was extremely honoured and pleased to be asked to join the Arctic Trek 2020 team, again representing DG for a great charity. It’s a privilege to work with Dreams come True for such a worthy cause and I thank DG for giving me the opportunity to take part in such a unique adventure. I can’t wait to get going, roll on February the 2nd.”
Jonathan West, Aviation Director
