ACTAVO EVENTS DONATES SEATING TO RIDING FOR DISABLED ASSOCIATION COLERAINE

Actavo Events, Ireland’s leading supplier of event infrastructure, recently donated arena seating, that is valued at £2,000 to Riding for disabled Association (RDA) Coleraine, a horse riding school. This riding school provides recreational and therapeutic riding and sporting opportunities for persons living with a disability in Coleraine and surrounding districts.

RDA Coleraine made a grant application to obtain funds for arena seating and as part of the process, Actavo Events provided a quotation. The school was unsuccessful in their application, and in response management at Actavo Events made the decision to gift the seats. The donation has resulted in the riding school being able to facilitate more people in their arena and therefore, more support for their riders.

Denis Diggin, Managing Director, Actavo Events said: “Actavo Events is delighted to have donated arena seating to RDA Coleraine. We know how hard the staff at the riding school work and the benefit they provide to help those living with disabilities. After finding out they were unsuccessful in their grant application, we felt the decision to gift the seating was the right one. We hope that our donation will enable them to facilitate many more riders and many supporters in their arena. We wish them continued success.”

Pete North, Chairman, RDA Coleraine, District and RDA Chair said: “As the Chairman of RDA Coleraine, I would like to thank Actavo Events for their very generous donation. As a facility that provides recreational and therapeutic horse riding and sporting opportunities for persons living with a disability, it is important to also facilitate family members, guardians and carers. The arena seating we have received is fantastic and it is exactly what we needed to facilitate more support for riders in their arena.”
