1 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay (1SJRQ), Hibernia’s recently completed office development, has received a LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council. 1SJRQ is the second LEED Platinum rated building within Hibernia’s portfolio; 1 Cumberland Place received the same rating in 2017. The 112,000 sq. ft. office development has been leased to leading inbound marketing software company HubSpot. The office development received the highest level of LEED certification based on building and design features including:
• Rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels
• Energy efficient LED lighting throughout the building
• BER A3 rating
• Strong connectivity (WiredScore certified Platinum)
• Optimised glazing providing natural daylight
• Water efficient appliances and rainwater harvesting
• Sustainable materials and FSC wood
• High performance façade
• Green roofs, open landscaped areas and a living wall at the building’s entrance

Hibernia’s latest LEED rating, which also includes Gold certification for One and Two Dockland Central, 1WML and 2WML, continues a positive year for sustainability across the portfolio. Over the summer, beehives were installed on the roofs of a number of properties to aid urban biodiversity and provide natural honey to tenants. A retrospective PV array was also installed on the roof of 1WML which, at peak output, will power all of the landlord lighting within the building.
